Williams Brothers Cider to trade at Wales’ best loved food festival!
Williams Brothers Cider has been chosen to be part of this year’s Abergavenny Food Festival which returns over the weekend of 16 - 18 September.
The Festival, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors to the market town of Abergavenny every year, has hand-picked the exhibitors who will trade in the markets and has once again picked Williams Brothers Cider to be among them.
Matrika Lindley-Thompson, Exhibitor and Logistics Director said: “We are very pleased to be able to offer Williams Brothers Cider a space at our Festival. Every year the demand to trade gets higher and higher so it’s a real testament to them that they have been chosen. We’re looking forward to welcoming them to the Festival!”
Brothers Rich and Pete Williams from Bedwas based Williams Brothers Cider said: “Abergavenny Food Festival is one of the highlights of the festival calendar so we’re delighted to have been chosen to be a part of it. We’ll be there with our draught and bottled craft real ciders and hope the thousands of visitors to the Festival will come and see us and taste what we have on offer, perhaps for the first time!"
“This Festival is a fantastic way for us to share what we do and introduce more and more people to us.”
The Festival will be headlined by one of TV’s favourite MasterChef stars, Monica Galetti, who will be running a cookery demonstration and talk, with Waitrose magazine editor William Sitwell.
Jose Pizarro will take centre stage, demonstrating recipes from his book ‘Basque’ followed by a book signing. And festival friend Cyrus Toddiwala will also be hosting a masterclass from his new book ‘Mr. Todiwala’s Spice Box.’
There are some new additions to the line-up for 2016, including a brand new Gin Palace as well as the return of Festival favourites, Party at the Castle, the Night Market and Food Academy workshops for the budding mini –master chefs out there.
Wristbands tickets start at just £7 and let you stroll the markets with entry into five venues, over 200 food and drink exhibitors, live cookery demonstrations, children’s activities, entertainment, live music and much more. Headliner acts and special events sold separately. All tickets available now visit abergavennyfoodfestival.com
